Just to clarify: Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not was the UK's best–selling debut album of all time – not just the best–selling one of 2006. In 2013, Rolling Stone magazine named it the 30th greatest debut album of all time. (In case you were wondering: the top three were Ill Communication (Beastie Boys, 1986), Ramones (1976) and Are You Experienced (Jimi Hendrix Experience, 1967).)
